The temple is open from 8.30 a.m. to 10.30 a.m. and from 6.30 p.m. to 8.00 p.m.
History:
Lord Rama grants darshan to the devotees in standing form holding His praised Kothanda bow from the sanctum sanctorum accompanied by Mother Sita and beloved brother Sri Lakshmana. Azhwars and Jaya Veera Anjaneya bless the devotees from their respective shrines. Sri Chakkarathazhwar and Lord Narasimha have separate shrines. The vimana-tower above sanctum sanctorum- has sculptures depicting the 10 incarnations of Lord Vishnu. The Lotus Feet of Lord Rama are installed behind the shrine of the presiding deity. The temple is under the management of Ramanathapuram Samsthan.
